There’s a saying going on at this time of the year, and we strongly stand by it: Life’s too short to hack alone!
Yep, that’s right — it’s time to get out of the house, join forces with other hackers and see what digital realms you can navigate to. ⛵
We’re extremely excited to be back to the main essence of a hackathon, meaning gathering all the hackers together under one roof and having all that fiery neuronal activity giving birth to innovative new projects. Do you want to develop your ideas in real-time, with the help of other talented hackers, and win some noteworthy prizes? Well, this all can happen between June 10–12.

Who can attend
The short story: any tech-driven individual.
The long story: there are 3 types of hackers that usually attend these types of events and that always find their place at HackTM.
Let’s take them one at a time:
The Full-Stacked Hacker
This type of hacker is no stranger to the idea of a hackathon. He is either a designer or a developer, has an idea that he wants to put into practice, and has already gathered a team of hackers to conquer the scene. Putting it short: he’s full-stacked on with the eyes on the prize.
The Savvy Hacker
The Savvy hacker is very confident in his skills. With refined coding or design skills, he knows that he can add value to any project he works on, and therefore becomes picky with what he chooses. At the hackathon, he teams up with the best and puts his savvy to work.
The Pioneer Hacker
The Pioneer hacker is the most mysterious one — we don’t know for sure if he’s a manager, an engineer, or maybe he doesn’t even have any job at the moment. But one thing we know for sure — he is a true visionary and puts the best ideas on the table. Once he pitches the idea, the hackers start to gravitate toward him, and they form a sizzling team. 🔥
What you can build
The future is still under construction, and here we gather to build on the most demanding areas. Therefore, check out the tracks where you can put your brains to work:

- Artificial Intelligence
- Media, Entertainment & Education
- Q-Commerce
- N.O.T.H.I.N.G. => not all projects have to lead to something disruptive. We highly encourage you to also hack for fun and see what can you can get out of it.
Each of these sections is awaiting new ideas and a new power of innovation, which we know that only hackers behold. Choose your area of expertise, of who knows — maybe you dive into totally uncharted territories and surprise yourself, but either way, keep your eyes on the grand prize!

& The boring logistics
The event is taking place between June 10–12 at Sala Polivalenta Dumbravita, and we’ll be doing mostly hacking, but there are a few more steps along the way: registration, pitching ideas & finding teammates, whole lotta hacking, judging and award ceremony.
