Creating Safer Spaces with Update 7.3

As the leader in private team communication, BAND wants to make sure that families and teams feel safe with young teenagers using our service. An important part of that includes creating new ways for parents, teachers, and coaches to be more involved in what their teens and students are doing.

Update 7.3 is giving parents and coaches the ability to monitor their teenager’s BAND activity so parents can find comfort from knowing their kids are safe in their groups.

New ‘Supervisor’ Setting

Parents, coaches, and teachers are now able to monitor what their teenagers are doing with the ‘Supervisor’ Role. This setting allows you to enable or disable the Search or Discover feature, and view the list of Bands or Pages the teen is a member of.

Download and Print Your Member List (Web/PC)

You can now print a physical list of the members in your Band! From the member list, you can download an Excel sheet of the members currently in your Band or download it directly from the page.

This is currently only available on the Web/PC version BAND (https://band.us).

Download Multiple Photos at Once!

Downloading photos or images from your Band is now much easier. You can now download up to 100 photos at a time. This can come in handy with parents who always need to have photos of any event.
