We’re excited to announce that Band Protocol has collaborated with AirSwap to become a trusted partner on their over-the-counter (OTC) trading platform without third-party escrow, deposits, or trading fees!

OTC transactions to date are facilitated via chat-room based escrow services that are reliant on an external party. Thus, escrow failures and scams have been prevalent, leading to fear and frustration among many trading communities.

Band Protocol stands united alongside top ecosystem projects such as Synthetix, iExec, Tellor and Ultra, to improve the overall trading experience for our respective communities and token holders.

Band Protocol is excited to support AirSwap’s upcoming virtual hackathon as a tech partner to provide and generate real-world use-cases using Band Chain’s decentralized oracles. More details to be released soon!

We look forward to helping and having developers from all over the globe hack on Phase 1 of BandChain similarly to our hackathon with TBWG!
