The new version features a clean and simple UI that is light in information but rich in context to better reflect on BandChain, new products, partnerships, and our core values. The website is fully up-to-date with the upcoming mainnet launch of BandChain, the second iteration of Band Protocol, a real-time cross-chain data oracle platform that aggregates and connects real-world data and APIs to smart contracts.

Upgrading the Website for Band Protocol v2
Following our rapid development in the first two quarters of 2020, Band Protocol has fast-tracked our original roadmap and seen tremendous improvements in the oracle solution we offer. In Q3 2019, we launched an Ethereum-infrastructure focused oracle alongside our Binance Launchpad IEO which has since been rapidly reiterated to a cross-chain compatible oracle. BandChain enables real-time data requests with on-demand and end-to-end flexibility for developers to create custom data oracles for any data source.
Band Protocol v2 is a culmination of extensive research and development to provide a highly secure oracle solution that matches the needs of all decentralized applications from hackathon projects to DeFi DApps that have hundreds of millions of value at stake. This has been achieved while meeting the principles that compose a robust developer experience including usability, extensibility, customizability, and security.
