BandChain: Community Validator Rollout #1
Band666, Spanish_Node, 0base.vc, BANDITS, Cypher Core
The BandChain Phase 0 Mainnet has been live for nine days with the number of validators grown to over 38 trusted active nodes and now bonding over 78+ million BAND! As part of the Stage 2 plan, token transactions and staking have been successfully enabled alongside various ecosystem partners supporting BandChain.
We will now begin rolling out our community nodes that have participated in the Wenchang Testnet #2 successfully in batches of 3–5. Below, we will spotlight our first five community validators onboarded onto the Phase 0 Mainnet which you can begin delegating your BAND tokens to right now!
Band666
Band666 is a node founded by China HODLs, a large community with members consisting of developers and investors. Band666 wants to grow and work closely with Band Protocol to support more DeFi and dApps in Asia while also ensuring that the decentralized application space is as secure as possible for the next generation of users.
Band666 already has over 1,000,000 BAND delegated for their node already!

Spanish_Node
Spanish Node represents the Spanish community for Band Protocol who have been supporters since early 2019. Their representative team is composed of 3 people who operate two sentry nodes, one validator node, and three servers to ensure the highest level of security and stability for anyone that delegates BAND tokens on their behalf.

0base.vc
0base is a validator node founded by JinWoo Lee, an early-stage blockchain adopter having been in the space for 8 years since 2012. During this time they’ve been developing exchange, API trading, and various validator node services for other blockchains. The team utilizes Kubernetes infrastructure, a highly stable containerization and monitoring system to operate their nodes.
The team is currently running testnet nodes on Solana, Near Protocol, Coda, Cyber Congress, and OK Chain.

BANDITS
The BANDITS node is operated by Can, a long-term Band Protocol community member, and blockchain adopter since 2013. In 2017, Can started various crypto community projects including DevHeaven on Discord and INDINODE, a community-focused and privacy-based coin that is driven to maintain sustainable growth, development, and fair practices within the masternode coin space.

Run A BandChain Validator Node
Upon the completion of Stage 2, anyone in the general public is welcome to stake their tokens and join our open network marking the rollout of Stage 3.
In the meantime, we encourage all community validators to start by running a node alongside 58 other validators on Wenchang Testnet #2 chain-id: band-wenchang-testnet2.
The genesis file is available here and the recommended release is v0.2.4.
