Nervos’ L2 Polyjuice Integrates with Band Protocol to Foster dApps Ecosystem

We are excited to announce that Band Protocol and Nervos Network have completed another milestone: Band Oracle is now live on Polyjuice testnet, a layer 2 solution on top of Nervos CKB, after integrating successfully onto their layer one. This partnership is a further step in completing the shared vision of a secure and scalable DeFi ecosystem.

Polyjuice is an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible with the design for scalability in focus. The infrastructure enables easy deployment of any Ethereum dApp on the network to allow for fast ecosystem growth. By integrating with Band Protocol, the projects in the Polyjuice ecosystem now have an access to request Band Oracle data from Band Standard Dataset which contains 230+ symbols, spanning over various foreign currencies, cryptocurrencies, stocks, and more.

The price feed will be critical for decentralized applications, especially DeFi applications, which rely on various real-world data of prices and more to build services in various segments ranging from money-market, lending, derivatives, decentralized exchanges, to insurance.

End-to-End Customization, Endless Possibility

With Bandchain’s infrastructure, the possibility of development on Polyjuice ecosystem is vast. Developers on Polyjuice can customize their oracle solutions by creating their own oracle scripts which specify any external source or APIs to use and designing their own custom parameters for aggregation, update time, and validator confirmations.
