Band Protocol and QANplatform are announcing a strategic partnership to integrate the first quantum-resistant blockchain platform with Band Protocol Oracle.

QANplatform is the quantum-resistant Layer 1 hybrid blockchain platform that will allow developers and enterprises to build quantum-resistant: smart-contracts, DApps, DeFi solutions, NFTs, tokens, Metaverse on top of the QAN blockchain platform in any programming language.

QANplatform is the first Layer 1 blockchain that rewards developers after each new smart-contract deployment and each public blockchain (MainNet) transaction for a lifetime where their code part is getting reused by other developers.

QANplatform will tackle fast adoption by building integrations to existing and widely used and loved programming languages (any language which can be compiled to run on a Linux Kernel), DevOps technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), major cloud platforms (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform…), Indexing and Oracle such as Band Protocol.

The Band Oracle is decentralized, permissionless and time-tested data oracle. With its own chain structure (“BandChain”), it offers a cheap, end-to-end customizable data oracle solution.

“QANplatform’s mission is to empower anyone to build rapidly and securely on the blockchain.
Quantum-resistant security is our USP, but we put an enormous focus on lowering the entry barrier for the developer community by letting them build in any programming language or use integrations. A Layer 1 hybrid blockchain platform as QANplatform connected to an Oracle like Band Protocol favours the whole ecosystem to build a world where real and helpful use-cases are built on the blockchain.” — says Johann Polecsak, Co-Founder and CTO of QANplatform

Thanks to Band Protocol, developers building on QANplatform will be able to connect their quantum-resistant smart contracts, DApps, DeFi, Token, NFT and Metaverse use-cases with the largest collection of data feeds in quantity and variety which includes 230+ feeds from foreign exchange, stocks, commodities and more.

With Band Standard Dataset infrastructure in the ecosystem, users have access to this growing collection of data sources. Developers can specify their data sources to adjust their desired redundancy for safety, and write their own aggregation method (eg. Median, Average, Majority of Median) that fits the needs of their protocol.

“We are excited that Band Protocol will widen its Layer 1 integration portfolio with the first quantum-resistant blockchain platform. We are planning with a growing number of Band Protocol Oracle requests from developers building on QANplatform” — says Catherine Tuntiserirat Head of Growth at Band Protocol

QANplatform developers will benefit from having access to Band Protocol’s 230+ data feeds by the time the QAN MainNet launches in 2022.

About Band Protocol:
Band Protocol is a cross-chain data oracle platform that aggregates and connects real-world data and APIs to smart contracts. Blockchains are great at immutable storage and deterministic, verifiable computations — however, they cannot securely access data available outside the blockchain networks. Band Protocol enables smart contract applications such as DeFi, prediction markets, and games to be built on-chain without relying on the single point of failure of a centralized oracle. Band Protocol is backed by a strong network of stakeholders including Sequoia Capital, one of the top venture capital firms in the world, and the leading cryptocurrency exchange, Binance.
