Zaid is a 42-year-old engineer who loves meeting and talking to people face to face. Even when it has to do with his banking activities, he never misses an opportunity to visit a Bank al Etihad branch and have a cup of coffee with employees.

One day, Zaid’s daughter Dana asked him why he doesn’t use Bank al Etihad’s mobile banking app. He answered that he isn’t the biggest fan of technology and enjoyed interacting with the bank employees. Dana wasn’t convinced. So, she put on her detective hat to find the truth. After a few nights of staying up late and investigating, she connected the dots and came to the shocking conclusion that her father doesn’t know how to use the app!

When Zaid thought that this was all the app had to offer, Dana surprised him with more and showed him how he could pay his bills on the app. This way, he would no longer have to spend half his day in the office and the other half waiting in line at his telephone service provider to pay his bill. And what’s more, Zaid could pay Dana’s school fees with a few clicks on the app through these steps.

While exploring the app, Zaid also found that he could transfer money locally and globally on any day of the week and at any time. With these steps here, Zaid made his first transfer to Dana after she suggested he rely on the app to transfer her monthly allowance.

And although he no longer needs to visit the bank like before, he hasn’t abandoned his friends there and still sees them every now and then for a cup of coffee.
