BANKEX Monthly Update: August 2018
The last month of summer has come to an end. It’s time to look back on everything BANKEX achieved in August. Over this past month, we launched BANKEX Pay for Ethereum transactions, released the mobile version of BANKEX Scan, presented the tokenized YouTube channel, and listed our utility token on Coinswitch.co, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange aggregators.
New Tech and Services
BANKEX Pay
This month, our team launched BANKEX Pay — a powerful and easy-to-use Ethereum wallet, customized for iOS devices. It’s a robust solution that enables you to make transactions, estimate gas costs, and generate receipts.
Use BANKEX Pay to easily store, send, and receive crypto assets, all from your iOS device. The wallet can also store ERC-20 and ERC-223 tokens. Going forward, expect BANKEX Pay to support a wide range of tokens, including ERC-721 and ERC-888. The app has an intuitive interface that makes it an ideal wallet for crypto newbies and experienced crypto traders alike.
The app also offers top-notch security. It employs a native API as well as BANKEX’s own Web3swift library to interact with the blockchain. In addition, the wallet uses a digital signature for transactions while the library itself stores keys. Users’ private keys are protected from jailbreaks and root rights, so they will be as secure as on a hard wallet. The BANKEX Pay app for iOS can be downloaded here.
Mobile Version of BANKEX Scan
BANKEX Scan is a service that can search for Ethereum transactions by address, TxHash, or block number. It also can return transaction details such as ETH volume, fees, block number, sender/recipient address, transaction time, and whether the transaction was successful. This makes it similar to other Ethereum scanning solutions, but with an important added feature: it can also scan ERC-721 tokens and display their balances. This information will be displayed separately from other transaction data.
BANKEX Scan for Android tablets and smartphones is up on Google Play. Get the same exact functionality as the web version — easy access to information on the Ethereum blockchain — now on your mobile device.
TechHives — The First Tokenized Youtube Channel
TechHives is a trending YouTube channel dedicated to infotainment about tech for non-tech people. With the help of BANKEX MediaToken, TechHives has become the first tokenized YouTube account and is now attracting contributors from all over the world. MediaToken provides contributors with full access to all social media channel performance metrics, offering detailed account analysis, including real-time reports on likes, views, shares, and other indicators. Channel owners report their income and expenses. As tokenized channels grow and attract advertisers, token holder revenue increases. In exchange, bloggers and social media channel owners get the funds they need to develop their channel. The MediaToken funding model sidesteps bank loan applications, intermediaries, and high financing fees. Instead, MediaToken offers security, simple automated processes, and rapid growth.
New Exchange Aggregator
After the successful launch of several new products and services, BANKEX’s founders have decided that it’s time to make the BKX utility token more accessible to potential token holders. To put this into practice, we have worked to get BKX listed on a number of large crypto exchanges and exchange aggregators. This month, BANKEX established a partnership with Coinswitch.co — the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchange aggregator platform, with 250+ coins and 6000+ currency pairs. As of 2018, it has been hitting a volume of 1 million USD per day. Among the exchanges listed on Coinswitch.co are Bittrex, Changelly, Shapeshift, and Cryptopia.

In August BANKEX visited the IFC — International Finance Corporation World Bank Group Headquarters Headquarters to help promote the application of blockchain technology in global supply chains.
BANKEX Team attended the Ethereum Bangkok Community Meetup to present our groundbreaking technologies and bond with fellow blockchain-based companies, such as OmiseGO.
Blockchain Education: BANKEX Foundation School conducted a 4-day Intensive Course on Solidity
BANKEX Foundation developers Artem Vorobyev, Kirill Kuznetsov, and Nikita Kozlov broke down the complex world of smart contracts in a solidity course that consisted of 20 hours of lectures and practical learning. Each student received a unique certificate upon completion.
