Highlighted Improvements in v2.0

Bank of Chain (BoC) has successfully deployed V2.0 (Beta version) on Ethereum. This article aims to shortlist multiple outstanding updates that the Beta version presents to the community.

New Features Introduced

USDi Ticket

USDi Ticket balance viewable on the My Account page.

In the Beta version, the USDi ticket functions as a buffer for the dispatching of the USDi. It could also be understood as a parallel USDi. After depositing stablecoins into the vault, the vault mints the corresponding amount of USDi Tickets to the user, and the user holds the USDi tickets until fund allocation has been completed by the protocol; then, only USDi will be distributed to the user. This allows the first allocation fees to be transparent and visible, which is the difference between the USDi tickets held by the user and the USDi distributed afterwards.

Realized/Unrealized Profit

Realized/Unrealized profits obtained a week after depositing 100k USDC into the BoC Vault.

Realized/Unrealized profits obtained a week after depositing 10 ETH into the BoC Vault.

• Realized Profit: Withdrawable profits in the vault that is already harvested.
• Unrealized Profit: To-harvest (potential) profits generated by third-party strategies. Unrealized profits transform into realized profits once the harvest has been successfully executed.

Standardized Official APY

Weekly Official APY of strategies calculated with high accuracy.

In the Alpha version, the Official APY was quoted directly from the third-party protocols which are misleading and inaccurate. The Beta version improves by using primitive data obtained from related subgraphs and protocols for APY calculations, producing accurate and standardized figures.

The BoC APY now follows the Official APY well, which allows close monitoring of the operation of the BoC protocol.

Uniswap V3 market-making strategy

BoC adopted the liquidity adjustment strategy of the CHARM protocol, allowing BoC to achieve or exceed the average market-making return even when the market fluctuates, as long as Uniswap V3 provides liquidity.
