Over the past few months, we’ve been working hard to improve our product for you!

Here’s what’s new in Workspace:

1) A new, more intuitive, navigation layout

We’re launching a new layout for Workspace that’s designed to put the things you care about front and center, and simplify your workflow. With simplified and more robust settings, you’ll be able to create customised volunteer projects even more easily!

2) Newly launched “Rostering” module helps you to match and schedule volunteers

Previously “Skills & Roles”, we’ve developed a brand new module called 🆕 “Rostering” to help you with your scheduling needs. This includes matching of skills, setting up of different volunteer roles as well as fulfilling your highly customised scheduling needs.

3) Schedule recurring projects in bulk, for lightning speed creation of projects đź“…

Rather than setting up each date of your project manually, you can now use our new dates generator to set up your weekly or monthly projects with just a few clicks. Whether your project occurs “every Monday and Wednesday” or the “1st of every month”, we’ve got you covered! ;)

4) Specify volunteer commitment needed, setting expectations right from the start

Volunteers can now see the cadence for each volunteer project, for instance, “Every Monday 2:00PM — 5:00PM”. Volunteers can also unselect dates they know they are unable to make it for as well, giving you a well needed heads up.

5) Use “Duplicate” for more effective setting up of projects and roles

We’re seeing many of our volunteer managers setting up volunteer roles to find the volunteers they need.

To set up a project even more effectively without needing to create projects or roles from scratch, we’ve added a new “duplicate” feature so that you can easily make a copy of an existing project or role with a single click of a button. All these so you can spend more time engaging your volunteers instead ;)

6) Newly launched Form Builder helps you customise the information needed from volunteers

Do your different projects require different information from each other? With our new Form Builder, you can easily customise what information you require from volunteers who sign up! Simply drag and drop specific information needed from the volunteer for your project.
