smile was drawn in my lips as i watched my woman run in the field of sunflowers where she finds her comfort. embracing the solsikke while feeling the sunlight’s touch through her white vesture seems to be like she is in the midst of little children giving them hugs and kisses as her greeting. i understand her love for yellows for i see the blithe in her as well. she once walked on a ground filled with spikes while trying to keep the ocean fall from her eyes. her body was once covered with bruises and wounds while trying to live her life as a kid without knowing that being beaten up is abuse and a scurrilous deed. she then went to run away from the dwelling that was supposed to be a home for her — and thankfully, i was the one to catch a glimpse of her as i shared her the peace and tranquillity of life. i gave her a piece of sunflower and she had it painted on her scars as she started living fully again. but this time, not with thorns and throw, but with tournesol, cheerfulness, and love. angeli, the lady of sunflowers.
