BOS Weekly Code Reviews

We are proud to announce the BOS Code Review Series and Shorts, supported by Marketing DAO, facilitated by Build DAO and Banyan Collective. These will be live weekly sessions for the next 5 months, taking place on Thursdays at 3PM UTC. Experienced devs in the Near Ecosystem will be reviewing other people’s BOS + NEAR related code or providing walkthroughs of highly requested builds they created. Afterward, all content will be made available in both long and short form.

Objectives

• Create developer centric content that brings more builders into the ecosystem.
• Bring back code review culture, encouraging a culture of everyday building,
• Incentivize mentors to share their work and review other developers’ work. (compensating $150 per session)
• Validate the concept of new content formats, and then collaborate with DevHub to repurpose older content, such as Work Group and Community calls.
• Create more long form and short form content for code review, optimizing NEAR’s social media channels
• Being an open space where developers can come and ask questions live
• Shift the culture to attracting highly skilled developers, and showcasing innovative work as a status symbol in the ecosystem
• Make all video content available in a Creatives Common license for other content creators to cut into long form and short form content on their own channels to optimize twitter content
