To Our Next Marketing Lead,

We want your help designing and evaluating the effectiveness of our marketing initiatives.

We produce direct mail, write white papers, send newsletters, develop landing pages, and conduct case studies. We’ve made a business helping over 800 banks and credit unions market their brands to people in their community.

We want you to help put those strategies to work for our own brand, and to help us know that they work through careful study. When they don’t, you will help us correct them.

The pandemic painted a gigantic spotlight on financial preparedness. Banzai needs a talented, experienced marketer who will help us reach a bigger audience and hold us accountable to our efforts using solid data. We need a teammate who will help put Banzai in the hands of every adult and young person in America.

What We’re Offering

  • Opportunity to lead the marketing direction for a growing company
  • High degree of freedom to execute your plan
  • Access to talented copywriters, designers, and developers
  • A solid salary ($60–90K, depending on experience)
  • Full healthcare benefits
  • Generous and flexible paid time off
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Stock options
  • Lots more we can talk about

What We Expect

We will expect a lot of you. You have experience solving a variety of marketing problems through campaigns, SEO, ads, lead funnels, or direct marketing. You will use these skills, as well as others you develop at Banzai, to promote our business and its growth.

You bring expertise in a suite of analytical tools: Google Analytics, Search Console, MixPanel, Moz, whatever. We’re less concerned about which tools you have experience in, rather that you have opinions about how to use them well, and to translate our marketing efforts into results. You must make an impact.

You are organized. You’re capable of juggling many projects at the same time. You have several years of experience in marketing. You‘re ready to teach others. You’re not just willing — you’re eager — to learn new tactics.

Banzai’s business is complicated. In 13 years, with 60,000 teachers, 800 sponsors, and millions of users, we’ve developed a rich set of products. It will take time to learn the business. You will need to understand our audiences. You will need to be comfortable learning from, and communicating with, upper management in multiple departments. You’re unafraid of picking up a phone and talking with customers.

Tell me about the company
