We are thrilled to announce the official launch of Barkly in New York City. On October 5th, our trained dog walkers will harness up and start paw-rading the streets of Manhattan!

Bringing the convenience, trust and reliability of our service to the dogs of New York is an exciting step. It was in New York City after all where professional dog walking was born in the 1960s.

Being a dog or cat owner in New York City is unlike anywhere else. For one thing, the sheer number of pets in the city is estimated at a staggering 1.5 million. While the city may be a concrete jungle, the abundance of parks and luxuries for pets makes it an appealing city to have a four-legged family member.

Our launch area will include almost every neighborhood in Manhattan from East Village to Harlem and everything in between. Pet owners in these neighborhoods can now access a professional Barkly dog walker in as little as 60 minutes from 6am to midnight everyday. We know there is more to NYC than just Manhattan and have plans to expand to additional boroughs and neighborhoods very soon.
