Welcome to our company blog!

Over two years ago, our team came together with the simple mission to use technology to build a pet care service that is accessible, transparent, and enriches the lives of pets and their owners. We launched our dog walking service in Washington D.C. less than a year later, and quickly walked to several landmarks.

We’ve expanded our “paw print” to Baltimore and Philadelphia, released our mobile iOS and Android apps, while continuing to deliver innovative features you won’t find with any other dog walking or pet care service.

Barkly has come a long way since our beta launch — tens of thousand miles actually, and realize we need to do a better job of communicating with our customers and fans. Major feature releases, service area expansions, important events, and more have all come and gone without announcement, email, or promotion.

A blog and a resource

That changes today, with this first post we’re making a commitment to communicate and create valuable pet content from our broad network of partners, experts, and information. We will be announcing more news here soon, including some exciting partnerships.

Dog walking has never been easier or more convenient before Barkly, and we’re committed to making huge leaps each day to make it even better!
