How to place an ad on Barter Smartplace

In our last article, we taught you how to mark products using NFT on the Barter Smartplace platform. Today we will teach you how to place ads for sale or barter so that users can buy your goods on the marketplace. As in the case of creating an NFT, you first need to connect a crypto wallet that you have already attached to your account, or you can add a new one. There are two ways to create an ad on the site. The first is the “Place an Ad” button in the site header — the “Services” section:

You can also open the user menu and select the “Adverts” section:

In this section, you can create ads or track existing ones. To place an ad, click the “PLACE AD” button in the “Adverts” section:

Select one or more assets that you are going to list for sale or barter:

Specify the product category, name, region where the product is located, add a description to make the ad attractive. Select the deal type — it can be “Barter” or “Sale”.

Barter

If you have chosen the barter type of deal, set the ad price in BRTR and indicate the categories of goods for which you are ready to exchange the placed asset.

Categories from left to right: Real Estate, Transport, Art, Business, Values, Sundry, Cryptocurrency, Applications and Digital Art. The fee for placing a barter ad is 0.02% BRTR of the indicated cost + the base commission in BNB to pay for “gas”. Barter transactions are a unique feature of Barter Smartplace, which has no analogues in other major NFT marketplaces.

Sale

If you have chosen the trade type “sale”, the placement fee will be 10 BRTR + gas in BNB. Then, you need to choose one currency for which you plan to sell your asset — at the time of publication of the article, the price can be set in ETH, BRTR, USD Coin, USDT, BUSD and Bitcoin. All of these tokens are available on the BNB chain. You, as the seller, will receive 99% of the quoted price, since the service fee is only 1% of the transaction amount — take this into account when setting the sale price.

Additional information

After choosing the type of deal, we recommend adding up to 10 photo or video files to the ad using the “additional files” option (up to 50 megabytes for files). If this is a real asset, then it is reasonable to photograph it from different angles or film it. And finally, you can set the “private deal” option. In this case, the purchase will be available only to the addressee. After completion of preparation, you can place an ad. Click on the “Place Ad” button and confirm the transaction in the crypto wallet.

If someone responds to your ads, you can discuss the details of the deal in the “Messages” section. Just enter your desired message in the text box. If you want to attach a photo or other announcement, click the corresponding icon.

After someone buys your goods, it will be possible to receive assets to your wallet in the “Deals” section. In the future, we also plan to add more cryptocurrencies for the “Sale” deal type and add a new deal type — “Auction”.
