The New Project for Smart Care

“What does an invention worth, if it doesn’t change anything in this world?”

After a whole semester working on the concept of “smart teeth project”, I soon find out that it will be really complicated to materialize the concept which seems to be impossible to the public. So now I had switched my project to a new one that seems to be more “realistic” — The Smart Facial Mask Project.

Just like the older project, this new project is also aimed to improve consumers’ living standard and makes everything more convenient than before. I had made a market research on the demand and reception of normal facial masks.

Normal mask provides care for faces and makes them look better, but with many risks

According to the survey , to my surprise is that more than half of the survey takers are male, and about 70% percent of they survey takers are facial mask consumers! Many of them has high attention on their facial health, as a high percent of them has mixed oily skin type. Those who uses masks focusing more on Deep cleansing skin, Relieve skin and mental stress as well. Meanwhile those non-consumers either doesn’t need it or thinking it’s inconvenient.

The mask consumers who took the survey mostly uses masks once a week, but there are still a few of them who use it four time to even every day in a week. Many of them prefers to pent a little on the purchase of facial masks, only two of them are willing to spent huge money on it.

One type of mask which is made for keeping wet

There are many goal consumers willing to achieve when using the masks. Most consumers wanted to use them to keep water Supplementary, while there are also many of them want brighter color , more nutrition or tighter skin. Although most of them are having a good time wearing them, but there are also reports about users complaint on low effectiveness of the mask, or even allergenic effect in rare cases.

I also asked some questions about the expect for future masks. Most of the survey takers agreed with that facial masks in the future should be more effective and contains less chemical since it will cause allergy. Many of them are also interested about my “future mask concept”, since it can be remoted by phone using a reusable wireless receiver on it.
