Early Mistake for Kluber

As I talked about in the pre-game, mistakes will hurt you game 7.

Here is Fowler’s hitting hot zone for fastballs. Kluber on a 2–1 (behind in the count) pitch threw a 2 seam fastball in the middle of the zone (0,0).

Fowler had a 70% probability (observations over all hits and taking the zone into account) of hitting that pitch and he did for a home run. That was his first home run of that pitch type in that zone.

Kluber needed more movement on that pitch and did not get it.
