At BaseCanna, we have an “investor first” philosophy that prioritizes using cashflow to return all investor capital quickly, usually within a 15–18 month window. Thereafter, around 50% of cashflow is prioritized until investors have doubled their original investment. Once the investment has doubled, investors typically hold an equity tail in perpetuity.
