In the last article, I went through half of my top ten players of all time. In this one, I will go over the top five.

5. Wilt Chamberlain: Just like Shaquille, Wilt is also known as one of the most dominant big men of all time, because his height, 7'1", and his freakish athleticism. Wilt was a four time league MVP and won two NBA championships. He also holds 72 total records, about 60 years after he played. Some of the most impressive include, scoring 100 points in a game and averaging 50.4 points per game in a season.

4. Magic Johnson: Widely regarded as the greatest point guard of all time, Magic Johnson is one of the people on the Mount Rushmore of the NBA. He, along with Larry Bird, saved the NBA of bankruptcy, as more people wanted to start watching because of what they were doing. Magic ended his career early due to a disease, although he did end with three MVP’s and five championships. He was also apart of one of the best duos, with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar who is on this list as well.

3. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar: When talking about all of basketball, Kareem is widely regarded as the greatest of all time, but because this list doesn’t include college, he lands at three. Kareem is one of the greatest of all time because he has the most total points scored all-time. He scored 38,387 points in his long career and also had great success winning championships. He won six championships and six MVP’s, which is the most MVP’s won by a single player ever.

2. Michael Jordan: For many people, Michael Jordan and LeBron James is a great debate as to who is the better basketball player. In my opinion, Michael is the second best basketball player of all time. Michael Jordan is the definitely the most clutch player of all time, hitting many game winning shots in the playoffs. He ended his career with, six championships and five MVP’s. He is also in the top five for most points ever scored.

1. Lebron James: In my opinion, LeBron is the greatest of all time, and stillhas time to improve on this, as he is still playing. LeBron is already 8th in scoring all-time and is passing others on the list at a rapid pace. He has 4 MVP’s and 3 Finals wins, although he has been to nine straight. He carried one of the worst teams of all time to a Final and he has had to play against some of the best teams of all-time, like the 73–9 Warriors, and the Warriors today, who have five all-stars.
