Alex Caruso’s cult like following has only grown since the last time I wrote about him, and thus the legend around his NBA story has also swelled to new heights.

Another year has gone by in Los Angeles and much has changed as the Los Angeles Lakers look to defend their crown as reigning champions of the NBA, as new faces have populated the team and old faces have departed. Amid all the changes on paper the team has gone through, one thing has remained constant.

A now-bald man in his age-26 season, only his fourth in the NBA, has provided consistency for the defending champs on both sides of the ball. Whether it be cashing home a three or skying in for a monster block despite his smaller 6–4 size, Caruso has been a model of consistency for the Lakers on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.
