Today we’re introducing a brand new series of fashion portraits on our beloved designers and there’s no better way to start this journey than portraying a colorful young girl who used to live in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Barcelona. She designs casual streetwear whose artful prints are the perfect reflection of the flamboyant Barca. Her name is Laura Vaquero and she’s the creative, kickass genius behind the brand Wilder Shores. BN: Describe your designer style
LV: My style is fresh and young, I like to combine minimalism with the streetwear of the 80s.
BN: What inspires you?
LV: I’m inspired by art, by people with unique style that I see in the streets and by vintage clothes that I find in markets and thrift stores.
BN: What’s your proudest moment to date?
LV: The first time I saw a person in the street wearing one of my garments.
BN: If you weren’t a fashion designer what would you be?
LV: The owner of an art gallery for young artists.
