I often ask myself “What is the best way to grow and move forward as a brand without sacrificing our company values?” Each company has its own unique persona, and what works for one company can spell disaster for another. So while the need for growth is real, greater still is the need for Battle Balm to continue representing itself as a sustainable, ethically-made, and organically farmed product.

After setting the goal of being the best all-natural topical analgesic on the market, Battle Balm is now in the fortunate position to concentrate our time and energy on scaling up. Here is where we get an opportunity to gather resources to boost production, reduce costs across the line, and form more solid partnerships in industry while staying true to our values as an eco-friendly, forward thinking brand. As our influential circle expands, this positive impact on the world increases.

For this growth phase, we want to continue our efforts on purchasing equipment that is eco-friendly. We want to manufacture our products on a larger scale with energy-consciousness and renewable resources. We want to reduce our carbon footprint and utilize the latest technologies to reduce waste and power consumption. We could take the easy road to mass production, but the easiest path isn’t always the most beneficial one. We are choosing a higher road, one that will allow us to be a caring, dedicated, and environmentally responsible company that listens, supports, and helps the people we reach.

In order to make this growth phase happen in a way that adheres to our company philosophy, we will be launching an Indiegogo campaign. This will allow us to raise the additional funds required to expand our facilities quickly and ramp up production to meet increasing demand. My experiences throughout many aspects of life, whether it’s being a father, a brother, a husband, a founder, or a business owner, have all shown me that we cannot achieve greatness alone. We want to involve our families, friends, customers, partners, and corporations. At the end of the day, we want to do something that makes us feel worthy and valuable to each other and to society. I want Battle Balm to represent the best of people, the best of humanity. Our greatest value is in supporting one another. This is our truth and what we hold near and dear to our brand. Together, we can achieve anything.
