Battle Racers Time Trials Mechanics

I. Event Rules

1. Players must set a race-time record in the Weekly Leaderboard for the designated track.
2. The race-time can be set with or without other non-AI cars in a race.
3. Players can select any set of parts they own to make a car, or any of the test-drive cars.
4. Platform:

• You can play Battle Racers inside Decentraland via the following link: https://play.decentraland.org/?position=67%2C-21
• You can also play Battle Racers in our Early Access build at https://play.battleracers.io

II. Submission of entries:

1. Players must follow @BattleRacers and @PlaycheckGames on Twitter.
2. Players must post on Twitter with the following info:
   • Discord username (including #number tag)
   • Decentraland or in-game username
   • Fastest race time (format: MM’SS’’ss)
   • Tag @BattleRacers
   • Tag at least one (1) friend (accounts of companies, projects, public figures not included)
   • Screenshot of the leaderboard and/or the race result screen showing their in-game name and race time.
3. Players must then post a link to the tweet and their ETH address in the #br-time-trials channel of the Playcheck Games Discord.
4. Players must confirm submission of their entry by filling up an online form. The link will be provided in the event announcement.
5. Players can submit multiple entries, but only the fastest time will be considered.
6. Players must submit entries within the time-frame specified for each week of the event.

III. Schedule:

• The weekly leaderboard resets every Friday 4AM GMT+8 / 8PM UTC
• Deadline for submissions is on every Thursday 10PM GMT+8 / 2PM UTC
• Winners will be announced every Friday 10PM GMT+8 / 2PM UTC

IV. Winners and Prizes

1. Prizes are normally awarded to the Weekly Time Trials Champion (fastest race-time at the end of the time period per week) and to the rest of the Top 30 valid submissions (players who submitted complete entries regardless of their actual leaderboard rankings), unless otherwise specified.
2. A featured Part NFT of the week may also be given away. The criteria for determining the winners may vary depending on the event.
   • Week 1: Wheels
   • Week 2: Rear
   • Week 3: Front
   • Week 4: Body

V. Code of Conduct

A. Player Display Names

a. We trust that our players will not employ any offensive, malicious, inappropriate forms of speech in their Display Names. This includes, but not limited to:

• Threats
• Overt sexually-harassing innuendo
• Racism.

B. Behavior

a. Inappropriate and/or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated in any form or forum of Battle Racers. It is the responsibility of every participant to be aware of these stipulations before engaging in interactions with the game and other players. Claims of ignorance to such information shall not be excused.

b. Listed here are the general offenses that will be met with penalties proportionate to their gravity:

• General misconduct/misbehavior that disrupts proceedings
• Use of foul and/or inappropriate language
• Sexually-harassing statements and interactions
• Malicious interactions motivated by race or gender
• Perjury or reporting false incidents or circulating false information
• Flooding
• Malicious use of the community Discord channel and other Battle Racers forums
• Inappropriate advertising
• Fraud and/or impersonation of another player
• Fraud and/or impersonation of a Battle Racers / Playcheck team member
• Deliberate and malicious abuse of game issues
• Playing with multiple accounts and/or addresses

3. The organizing team of Battle Racers reserves the right to deliberate and adjudicate possible violations of these stated rules

4. Players can and should report violators to our Community Manager or Moderators. We encourage fair and non-disruptive play and therefore will take steps to investigate these cases and enforce the rules to maintain order and fair treatment.
