Sneak Peek: Battle Racers footage in Decentraland’s Creator Contest video!
Just in case you haven’t heard, Decentraland has launched an awesome Builder Tool and Creator Contest. And Battle Racers is one of the experiences shown in their announcement video!
The Builder Tool is a free drag-and-drop scene editor that lets anyone create 3D scenes for Decentraland, using hundreds of pre-built assets. Decentraland has also launched their Creator Contest to find the best creations using this tool. There are over 900K+ MANA and 50 LAND up in prizes, with the grand prize worth 200K MANA (US$7K). Decentraland posted an announcement video about the contest, and Battle Racers is in it! Check out our game at 0:19:
The video is from mid-February, so the game currently looks a little different now, but it’s a good example of what the arena experience is like. The robots you see there are actually us, the dev team, gathering around a track and racing together.
There’s one week left for submitting your scenes to the Decentraland Creator Contest, so get your creations ready.
