Sneak Peek: Sign up for our second Closed Multiplayer Beta!
Great news! Thanks to the success of our ongoing pre-sale, we are opening up a second multiplayer beta. This means you’ll get one more chance to play a live demo of Battle Racers online and race with other players in real time.
We are accepting 100 new beta testers. All previous beta testers are automatically whitelisted, so you don’t have to apply again.
What’s new since last beta
Our first beta last May resulted in great feedback from our testers. Since then, we made numerous improvements to the game which you’ll be able to play-test this time around:
- Leaderboards: See the fastest times per track and your personal best
- Longer races: Track 1 now has 6 laps and Track 2 has 5 laps
- Tooltips: The Garage kiosk received an information pop-up for more instructions
And as a thank-you to everyone who bought car parts during our ongoing pre-sale, you can customize your practice car at the Garage kiosk using parts in your own wallet! That means you can race with your very own parts! (If you don’t own any parts, no problem — you can test-drive all six brands in the game, just like our first beta.)
Note: The customizable car is a temporary feature just for this beta — parts stats will be standardized for max roll without variance, so the parts you race with might have better stats than the parts you own.
How to join
- Sign up now via this form. We are only admitting 100 additional beta testers and close the sign-up form Friday, June 14, 10:00 am GMT+8
- If you have a beta tester tag in Discord from the previous beta, no need to sign up! You’re already in!
The second closed multiplayer beta will start on Tuesday, June 18, 10:00 am GMT+8 and last until 12h after our pre-sale ends on Friday, June 21, 10:00 am GMT+8. Our item pre-sale is ongoing until Thursday, June 20, 10:00 pm GMT+8, so there is still plenty of time to buy car parts and take them to the race track during beta.
