Many professionals and aspiring students have had their careers, co-ops, and studies put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. So we’re inviting everyone to join Communitech and their partners in a friendly programming competition that will connect developers of all ages and technical backgrounds with potential employers in Kitchener, Waterloo, and the surrounding tech hub.

Thanks to the Communitech Talent Connections program, premier tech organizations from across the country will be joining the fray with their Battlesnakes to see if they can stand up against the developer community. In addition to participating, partner organizations are also hoping to catch the attention of developers looking for their next role.

Hosted on Twitch, this full-day virtual coding competition is your chance to showcase your programming skills, learn new technologies and collaborate with developers from across Canada.

The competition will have three divisions to choose from Student, Rookie, and Veteran. No matter your skill level or programming experience, there will be a division that’s great for everyone.

Check out Battlesnake at Communitech for registration details, getting started guides, and tournament information. Register now to join developers from across Canada and the world to compete in the Battlesnake Arena, June 20th live on Twitch.tv/BattlesnakeOfficial!
