In our blog, we will take you along on our journey of developing software, from overarching architectural ideas to some nifty tricks around the latest libraries and efficient team processes that are working out for us.
Our technology stack on the web is currently made up of mostly PHP & Symfony on the backend and JavaScript with Vue.js on the frontend — so be ready to take some technical deep-dives along those lines.
Who we are
Bauer + Kirch develops individual digital solutions across industries. Based in the so called silicon valley of Aachen, Germany, we’ve been organically growing our business for over 30 years. What started out as a company that specialized in Periodicals Administration and other desktop applications, over time branched out to become a multi-dimensional powerhouse. Our software solutions range from unique e-commerce platforms selling everything from mud guards to cabriolets to highly specialized applications that run on airplanes and Smart-TVs.
For us, software development is a team effort and building successful products involves continuous cooperation and communication between our clients, our dev teams and everybody in between. As a client service business, we strongly believe in long-lasting partnerships and the longevity of our solutions. Together, we continue to optimize our agile workflows and processes in order to deliver individually refined products with a strong focus on high quality.
