Tres Chic? Try Mama Chic
Mama Chic started while I was on my second maternity leave. I had made a rustic sign a few years prior with the quote ‘All you need is Love’ which was the theme of our wedding. As I had made a newer version of this sign, I decided to post the original one for sale on a facebook site. Overnight I had over 120 views, 64 private messages with questions on how to order and 26 bids. Mama Chic was born that next day, November 11th, 2013.
BBD has always been more than a career to me, it is a part of my family, an important part of my life. Once I was back to work in early 2014 I started finding more ways of collaborating my two passions.
When it comes to people, my main role at BBD is to motivate, develop and engage our team members. Being a part of so many special moments in people’s lives such as weddings, baby showers, first christmas and other milestones makes it all worth it. Together is a key word at BBD, what better way to get there than through creativity and art.
I was blessed to be featured this past month from Small Business Love. Who knew this passion that started out in my craft room could turn into a business that inspired people while making the world a ‘prettier’ place one sign at a time. I am a firm believer that the opportunities I have been given at BBD over the past 16 years both allowed me and encouraged me to ‘come to the edge’…even when I didn’t know it.
