Week 1 — Landmark Identifier

Team Members: Serhat Sağlık, Ege Uçak

We’ve decided to change our project and come up with a new one.

In our project we will design a program that can identify landmarks in Izmir, Istanbul and Ankara from photographs.

We will use a web crawler to download our training data from sites like Flickr and Google Maps.

If we get extremely high accuracy we are planning to add historical neighbourhoods from the same cities and will consider adding more cities.
