[Week 1 — Real Estate Price Estimation]

Theme: Predict the real estate sales price of a house based upon various quantitative features about the house

Real estate appraisal, which is the process of estimating the price for real estate properties, is crucial for both buys and sellers as the basis for negotiation and transaction.

Are you going to sell your house or buy your dream house and you want to know what it the right price for it? We will guess the house price with ML — how?

In this project, we will try to predict the price of a real estate from ads using machine learning algorithms. It will use various attributes- like the year, rooms count, house type, location, etc.- for a city which we had not decided yet.

This week first we did some research on the subject and algorithms.

Data

The first step for any kind of machine learning analysis is gathering the data.We will collect our own data from various estate agent websites.Talked about and determined Selenium package for collecting data from the web.From this week it will be used in this project.

We haven’t decided yet whether use images for real estate price prediction or not.
