BCDiploma to expand its operations into Mexico
BCDiploma certifies degrees from Mexico’s largest public university using the ethereum blockchain and Microsoft Azure
The agreement signed with the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon allows the French company BCDiploma to launch its activity internationally and expand its market across the Atlantic. More than a thousand certifications has been issued on March 20 during the “Motor de México” congress.
By choosing BCDiploma, the university becomes the first public institution in Mexico to deploy blockchain technology for its digital certificates. It thus meets its innovation objectives within the “student experience” and accelerates its digital transformation.
BCDiploma’s assets? Fast deployment, advanced web design and certificates accessible with no time limit. The decentralized architecture of the solution ensures the independence of the universities, guaranteeing the sustainability of the service and an essential need for the institutions.
For students, these new-generation certificates increase their employability by highlighting their diplomas, which are now freely accessible from LinkedIn. This is the end of fake diplomas: authenticity is proven with only one click.
The Faculty of Political Science and International Relations, which is part of the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon, is Mexico’s largest public institution of higher education (153,000 students). It will gradually certify all of its students’ diplomas with the BCDiploma solution.
“The first signature with an institution in the Americas represents an important step in our international business development. It confirms the overall need for a simple, safe and effective solution such as BCDiploma, which benefits schools, graduates and recruiters. The deployment was completed in less than 3 days by our teams, which confirms our image as a turnkey solution for the future.” said Luc Jarry-Lacombe, CEO of BCDiploma.
The BCDiploma team, backed by Microsoft For Startups and emlyon business school, was attended the “Motor de México” congress.
