English translation:

Launched at the end of September, BCDiploma solution ensures for the recruiter that the applicant’s diploma is genuine.

Clients are comprised of higher education institutions that put diploma-related information on the blockchain (surname, first name, graduate’s birth date, specialty, mention, etc.) that are encrypted and stored through the application. The student is given a link — unique for each diploma delivered — that he can share on a professional social network or through a QR code to include in his CV. The potential employer can then click on the link and consult the diploma which is restored in its original form, with the assurance that it is a genuine diploma.

“We do not work with a print of the document, we do work right to the level of the significative data issued by the institution. We know for a fact who granted which diploma, to whom and at what date it was” explains Luc Jarry-Lacombe, the company’s CEO.

At the school level, it solves the issue of an expensive and cumbersome process of issuing certificates as well as the issue of storing original documents on the long term. In addition, what works today for diplomas can be extended to various types of administrative data such as the civil status, accreditations, etc.
