Two out of three CVs contain false information, sales of fake diplomas have exceeded $1 billion in the last decade: BBC News has announced that more than 40 fraudulent websites have just been closed.
Launched in September 2018, the solution developed by BCDiploma guarantees recruiters that a candidate’s diplomas are authentic. To do this, higher education institutions put on the blockchain the information relating to their graduates (surname, first name, date of birth, specialty, etc.). The graduate then gets a link that he or she can share on social networks and include in his or her CV. No more problems with lost diplomas. The potential employer clicks on the link to review the diploma, with the assurance that it is authentic.
BCDiploma is one of 35 startups selected by the Île de France Region to participate in CES 2019 in Las Vegas, highlighting EMLyon business school’s EdJobTech Accelerator, which is actively involved in the international deployment of the solution.
