First degrees on the blockchain!
A Master of Paris Descartes University has issued blockchain certified degrees using BCDiploma
In december, for the first time, under the initiative of Professor Dominique Legeais, the “Droit des obligations civiles et commerciales” (Civil and commercial obligations law) Master (University of Paris Descartes) has issued Master 2 degrees on the Ethereum blockchain using BCDiploma technology. This is a real step forward in the development of BCDiploma and in the democratization of the blockchain through an innovative service made available to universities and their graduates.
The word of the Master’s Director Professor Dominique Legeais :
“Our students are entering the history of digital technology and diplomas by becoming the first promotion in France to inscribe their diplomas on the blockchain. For our graduates, it is a distinctive symbol on their resumes that will have a positive impact on recruiters. BCDiploma is making the first recording on the blockchain of a master’s degree in law in Paris Descartes under the sponsorship of Hubert de Vauplane. We are pioneers and trust BCDiploma, hoping that others will follow on this success.”
