BCF Ventures & Scale AI Partner to Offer Corporate Innovation Program for Supply Chain Start-ups
BCF Ventures is excited to announce the launch of its Corporate Innovation Program being offered in partnership with Scale AI beginning Fall 2020. The project will further establish Montreal and Canada as a specialized global supply chain hub, curating novel technology from North America and beyond.
The vision of the Corporate Innovation Program is to accelerate collaboration between AI-based Supply Chain start-ups and corporations to drive value in today’s quest for innovation. The program aims to provide entrepreneur-centric advice that responds to the challenges of business development with corporations, legal due diligence, scalability and funding.
We have the goal of supporting early-stage entrepreneurs by providing a 6-month part-time and remote corporate accelerator program that matches corporations with start-ups in the supply chain industry. Importantly, thanks to the partnership with Scale Ai, we are excited to offer a program that is entirely free — that is — no upfront admission costs or equity down the road.
Eligible project participants will benefit from BCF Ventures’ trifecta effect. Firstly, in today’s digital world, it is crucial to understand the importance of IP strategies and data privacy practices when scaling a business. The Corporate Innovation program responds to this challenge by providing Masterclasses hosted by subject matter experts in the area of Intellectual Property, Data Privacy, and other relevant legal disciplines. Secondly, the program matches start-ups with corporates, allowing participants to benefit from the business development opportunity of possible pilot trials and future paying customers. Lastly, top performing startups looking to raise a Seed or Series A round have the potential to secure funding from BCF Ventures and its extensive network of partner investors across Canada and the USA.
The goal is to enable innovative leaders to use this platform to spearhead innovation at all levels of scale, particularly in the domain of AI technological advancement. We want to incentivize collaboration between corporations and startups so that both emerge as leaders within their respective markets. With BCF Ventures’ network ecosystem of incubators, accelerators, innovation zones and venture capitals across North America, we look forward to collaborating on this exiting endeavor.
Stay tuned for more information about program scheduling and application requirements over the next few weeks. In the interim, early stage supply chain tech entrepreneurs and teams interested in the Corporate Innovation Program are encouraged to apply at F6success. BCF Ventures is excited to embark on this journey with Scale AI and welcomes the opportunity to know more about you!
