Africa Hack Trip — The Movie

Some years ago I spent a few weeks in East Africa with a group of fellow European developers and designers to meet the local tech communities to exchange and connect. One additional goal was to share our experiences and insights with as many people as possible and we finally just published our video documentary.

The 30-minute movie contains mostly material from the Barcamps and Hackathons we organized and a lot of interviews with people we met. The whole project including the documentary is very much DIY grassroots with almost no financial support, so it’s very unpolished but authentic.
