Scikit-learn: an innovative library of algorithms

How does Spotify pick just the right song to play after your favorite tune? Scikit-learn probably has something to do with it.

Scikit-learn is a machine learning library used by the popular music service, as well as other platforms such as the travel site Booking.com and OkCupid, to look at customer behavior. But its use doesn’t just stop at music, travel and dating.

The open-source project is used and developed by an international community of researchers and data scientists from a range of industries to handle predictive modeling for deeper insights and making better business decisions.

Olivier Grisel, a software engineer on the project at the French Institute for Research in Computer Science and Automation (INRIA), explains more about Scikit-Learn in this video.
