New Gweilo, SALT, and Polygon NFT-inspired beer hit the shelves at select ASDA stores in the UK.

BCW Consulting is proud to have contributed to the recent announcement of an NFT-inspired campaign being released in the UK later this month. The project was designed and announced by Gweilo Beer, SALT Beer Factory, and Polygon as a productive step towards increasing real-world utility and developing genuine engagement for NFTs. BCW assisted the project as a strategy consultant, facilitating the back-end technology requirements and go-to-market strategy.

What is the Campaign?

“NFT Hazy IPA” curated and brewed by Gweilo and SALT Beer Factory has hit the shelves in the UK. This specific beer aims to create an immersive community experience for beer lovers and NFT enthusiasts.

How does it work? Those who purchase the beer can redeem their very own Polygon NFT. A few who own this Polygon NFT will be selected in a ‘golden ticket’ style lottery to receive one of three rewards.

  • Golden Cash Prize’: The winner of this reward will receive 500 British pounds worth of profit from the ‘NFT Hazy IPA’ sale.
  • Golden Recipe’ — The winner will be allowed to help develop the next NFT beer flavor. Working with Gweilo’s award-winning head brewer, Charlie Johnson and SALT’s head brewer, Colin Stronge, to build their own craft beer recipe.
  • Golden Label Design NFT’ — The winner can work alongside Gweilo and SALT’s design teams to create the label for the next beer in the NFT series.

BCW’s Involvement

BCW acted as the service provider to Gweilo, SALT, and Polygon, providing strategy, consulting, and program management services for their NFT giveaway and the three Golden Ticket lottery speciality NFTs. BCW worked as a strategic partner, supporting the development of the campaign and tailoring it toward increasing customer engagement. BCW Group also assisted with minting the NFTs on the Polygon network and designing the customer journey from a UX/UI perspective for customers to obtain the NFTs.
