The 3-Part Key to 5x-ing Your Writing Efficiency— 2K to 10K by Rachel Aaron
How to write like you’re on FIRE
Writing fast isn’t everything.
Writing a lot isn’t everything, either.
But writing a lot, fast, is SOMETHING…if you truly aspire to be a serious (and well-compensated) writer of novels and other lengthy works.
So if someone told you that you could learn to write more, in less time, and with potentially much higher quality than whatever you’re managing now, that’s worth spending a bit of time considering their advice and experimenting with it in your own writing practice, wouldn’t you say?
When I first found Rachel Aaron’s 2K to 10K, that’s what I thought too. And despite its extravagant claim (2K to 10K? A 5x increase? EVERY day? Seriously?) and rather simple, straightforward cover design and composition, I was seriously impressed by the value of the information contained within.
So here’s a detailed book analysis on the book, where I’ll go over the ideas I found the most hopeful, and also include comments on the way the writer presented those ideas, to see what we can learn from her ideas AND her craftsmanship.
