Putting RegTech Enable On The Map

Marketing Strategy
The primary challenge for RegTech Enable was elevating and establishing the conference within an already saturated market.

We recognized that the major differentiator was the roster of speakers, which included international and national regulators and policy makers as well as C-suite representatives from cutting-edge technology platforms, legal firms, venture capital, and major financial institutions.

Messaging
“Impact the future of RegTech” became the main call-to-action for the marketing strategy. Through words like impact, connect, and shape, we conveyed that the conference was more than just conversations — it was a revolution.

Creative Strategy
As the only conference based in Washington, D.C., we used powerful imagery of iconic architecture to emphasize the regulatory significance of the city.

This was the foundational aesthetic on which we could layer the conference branding — a polished event logo, a cohesive color palette of blue and teal, and a functional type system for an elite-but-accessible conference atmosphere.

Setting The Bar

Media Planning & Buying
To reach an audience outside of the conference’s established network, we turned to paid social media on Facebook and Twitter. Through sponsored content, promoted handles, and retargeting, we generated more than 100 registrations.

Social Media Strategy
We established the hashtag #RegTechEnable to start the conversation. Through engagement with speakers, sponsors, and media, we grew active followership to more than 250 within two months.

During the conference, we used quote templates and images coupled with selected soundbites, stats, and summaries to create shareable content that amassed 873 engagements and 198 retweets.
