Being in a relationship means you’re willing to stretch your tolerance level once in a while. What you think is right doesn’t mean the same in your partner’s eyes.

But how much is too much? How do you know if you already hit your limit and what your partner did to you last week isn’t truly “fine”?

It all goes back to your standards. One of the reasons why people stay in a toxic relationship is because they don’t know their standards. They just accept whatever they got. And this is what makes dating hard.

In order to have a healthy relationship, first, you need to know what you want. You need to be clear on the things you can and can’t accept.

Because this eventually will lead you to the kind of partner you have in your life.
