When you have been single for an unreasonably long amount of time, you are bound to start questioning yourself. This is especially so, if you are a woman who people consider a great catch, has all her teeth together 😊, is attractive, educated, personable, etc. You would rack your brain many, many times trying to find a reason for your perpetual singleness.

A lot of these questions usually come up when a significant amount of time has passed between dates, when you are tired and frustrated of the dating scene and when you are tired of watching every person and their mama find love before you.

Without much ado, here are the thoughts you’ve had:

1. When will it be my turn? You will ask this question many, many times. You will ask this when all your classmates get engaged at the same time. Everyone except for you. You will ask this question when the niece you babysat gets married before you. You will ask this question after doing so much work on yourself, such as working out, going to therapy, practicing law of attraction, repeating affirmations, putting yourself out there, etc. and someone who did not do any work, gets engaged the first week she signs up for online dating.
