तेरी मेरी कहानी/ A Story
दे दो हर वह पल मेरे
तुम वापिस।
जब मैं करता रहता था
बस तेरी गुज़ारिश।।
दे दो शामे मेरी वह
तुम वापिस।
मैंने किया इंतज़ार तेरा
भीगे बारिश।।
दे दो हँसी मुझको मेरी
दे दो ख़ुशी मुझको मेरी
ले लो यादें ये सारी
जो अब सही ना जाए तेरी।
जो अब सही ना जाए दूरी।।
ले लो दुआए ये
मेरी सारी।
तू रहे खुश वहाँ
जहा जाए तेरी डोली।।
लौट आएगी हसी मेरी
लौट आएगी ख़ुशी मेरी।
भूल जाउंगा तुझे ये
दर्द ठहरते ही।।
बस रह जायेगी एक निशानी -
एक कविता -
बया करती — ‘तेरी मेरी कहानी’।।
English Translation:
I wish, I could get all those moments back-
When I used to pray for you to be my partner — all the time.
I wish, I could get back all those evenings
When I waited for you, in the pouring rain.
I want my smile back
I want my happiness back
And take all these memories of yours-
Cause-
I can’t stand them anymore…
It’s painful to be without you anymore..
But, I can’t change anything,
So instead-
Take all my good wishes
And be happy wherever you go..
My smile will come back
My happiness will bounce back.
I will forget you eventually
But one mark will be left-
