A Flight to Fear

Today’s drabble is Plane

The plane shuddered violently as turbulence gripped it like a vengeful specter. Passengers clutched armrests, their eyes wide with dread. But amidst the chaos, an ominous calm settled over a lone figure, Agent Anthony Aria. His mission was to retrieve a vital microchip hidden onboard.

As panic spread, Aria's training kicked in. He navigated the trembling aisle, eyes scanning for the microchip's carrier. Time ticked mercilessly. A sudden lurch sent him crashing into a suspicious passenger. Eyes locked, Aria realized the microchip was hidden in plain sight.

With seconds left, he lunged, sealing fate in a breathless struggle.
