ALL IS POLLUTED ~ Eco Poem
A polluting company
Was constructed near my village
And stole our clean and healthy environment
Pollution is her art.
Our rains are acidic
Where will we get fresh water?
Our lands are no longer fertile
Where will we get our daily meals?
A polluting company
Destroy our ecosystem in all it forms
Now we are alone facing climate change
Heartless are the investors.
Everything is destroyed
Our water bodies, soil, and forests
Now, our life's are in danger
Living like a dead, hollow tree.
The world is heating up, it's plain to see,
Our actions have caused this, it's not a mystery.
The ice caps are melting, the oceans are rising,
Species are dying, it's not at all surprising.
We've polluted the air, the land, and the sea,
And now we must face the consequences, you and me.
The heat waves are getting worse, the storms are more severe,
We must act now, before it's too late, before we live in fear.
We must reduce our carbon footprint, consume less,
Use renewable energy, and clean up the mess.
It's time to take responsibility, to do what we can,
To save our planet, for the sake of every woman and man.
Let's work together, to make a difference, to heal the earth,
To ensure a future for all, of infinite worth.
The time is now, let's not delay,
For the future of our planet, let's pave the way.
