At a certain point, it was the artificial bumps that regulated the road, not the individual responsibility and the sanctions. In this way, everyone had to slow down, both the disciplined and the unruly people. It was an artifice that put us all on the same level, both those who owned powerful machines and those who didn’t, a “democratic” invention that reduced the costs of controls for the benefit of the whole community.

Following the wave of this success, people movement control was then introduced via web cameras and smartphone gps as well as drones equipped with facial recognition. Everything was done with the clear intent to hit the unruly and improve global security, that security we all wanted, whatever the cost.

Then it was necessary to analyze the big data to prevent incorrect behavior, scan social networks to understand the intentions of individuals, and act before they made mistakes; someone raised the issue of privacy, but the majority said that the rights of individuals can be sacrificed for the common good, because this is the democracy. But it was not enough, it was also necessary to eliminate some news, which most believed to be false and should not be disclosed.

Individual responsibility was annihilated for the benefit of “democratic surveillance” which imposed a collectivist and totalizing vision of life. There was a reversal of individual sovereignty, a drift towards a technocracy of control that was loudly requested by most in the name of a great need for protection.

Thus was born the unique thought and it was necessary to conceal knowledge because it raised doubts and questions that we didn’t need.
