There are days when I’m soaring in the sky,
With all the appreciation and love that’s coming by.
There are days when I’m feeling like a land that has gone dry,
Questioning my circumstances with a big- Why?
In those days with a drought-like phase,
I shift my gaze from complaining to praise.
Like a shower of rain feels on the land that’s dry,
I’ve learnt expressing is good, even if it’s to cry.
Accepting is hard, but I at least try
Cause it feels worse to live in a lie!
