When I first started working out and watching what I ate, the goal was simple: I just wanted to shed some extra fat. That was it. No big mindset shift, no ten-year plan. I just wanted to feel lighter, maybe look a little more toned in my photos, and stop feeling so sluggish in my body.
But I stayed consistent.
And somewhere along the way, the “wanting to look better” goal turned into something way deeper. I started feeling stronger. My posture changed. My mood stabilized. I had more energy. And before I knew it, I wasn’t doing this just to look good. I was doing it because I felt good. And because I liked who I was becoming when I trained, ate well, and took care of myself like I mattered.
Fast forward a decade – my fitness journey is no longer about what the scale says. It’s about power, peace, and presence. I’m in the best shape of my life – not because I crash dieted or followed a trend – but because I kept showing up. I listened to my body. I stayed curious. I let it evolve with me.
